A sad day for our family

One year ago today our family suffered its biggest loss.

I was pregnant with my son when my mother-in-law, Joanie, died.

It was, and still is, a shock.

Joanie was too young, too healthy and had too much to look forward to.

She loved us all, especially our little Libby, so much.

An occasion such as today seems to deserve seamless, elegant prose.

But words are escaping me as I sit here in front of the computer.

So, instead, I’m making it a screen-free 24 hours and taking the kids to the beach.

Joanie never did like computers much.

Thanks for the sunshine.

It’s a beautiful Byron Bay day.

Sorry you lost someone so special. It’s times like this I always feel like the world doesn’t make sense. Just over a year since I lost my mum and my heart is still broken. Big Internet hugs for you and your family.

My beautiful precious Sister is someone more special than words can say. she is LOVE mixed with the most SWEETEST FRIENDSHIP one could ever know. She had so much inner beauty blended together with an outward appearance that bought a hugh SMILE of HAPPINESS to your heart. She is so PRECIOUS and DEAR in so many way’s it feels like she is my TWIN. She’s a hand within my hand, she’s so often the only one who really understood. She is someone more precious than word’s, someone beautiful and unique. My sweet darling Joanie, my gorgeous precious SIS.
